The structure with runners underneath (continuous beams) makes this pallet a preferred choice for sea freight. The runners provide excellent stability when loading containers and make it easier to move the pallet over rollers or uneven surfaces, reducing the risk of the load tipping over.

Beyond logistics, this model is also popular for DIY and interior design. With a total height of approximately 21–22.4 cm, depending on the version, taller than standard pallets, it is perfect for use as:

• Bed and Sofa Bases: Its generous height makes it possible to create comfortable, sturdy seating and bed platforms.

Wood and construction

• Material: Kiln-dried European spruce (maximum moisture content 20%), packaging grade; small resin pockets and dead knots may be present.
• Large version: Deck and runners with a 9.5 × 1.8 cm section; longitudinal and transverse beams with a 6 × 9 cm section.
• Extra version: Deck and runners with a 12 × 2.2 cm section (finished planed section 11.5 × 1.8 cm); longitudinal and transverse beams with a 7.5 × 9 cm section (finished planed section 7 × 8.5 cm).
• Planing option: Available only for the Extra version.

Dimensions, height and weight

• Large and Extra dimensions: Minimum 50 × 35 cm; maximum 500 × 245 cm. Maximum dimensions for courier delivery: 300 × 160 cm.
• Height: Large 21.6 cm; Extra 22.4 cm; planed Extra 21.0 cm.
• Runner length: The lower runners are approximately 30 cm shorter than the upper deck (15 cm at each end). For pallets shorter than 120 cm, they are approximately 20 cm shorter (10 cm at each end). The overhang can be customised using the dedicated form for a small additional charge.
• Approximate weight at 160 × 120 cm: Large 40 kg; Extra 55 kg.

Load capacity and structure

• Indicative static/dynamic load capacity at 160 × 120 cm: Large 3,000/2,000 kg; Extra 4,000/3,000 kg.
• Effect of size and load rigidity: Increasing the dimensions reduces the load capacity more than proportionally. A structurally rigid load, such as a product supported by a load-bearing metal skid underneath, can considerably increase the effective load capacity of the packaging.
• Large construction at 160 × 120 cm: Fully boarded deck, 3 longitudinal beams, 2 transverse beams and 3 boards serving as runners.

Export treatment and marking

• ISPM 15 treatment: Required for exports to countries outside the European Union that impose this requirement. The wood is heat-treated in a kiln; the price includes treatment, marking and supporting documentation.
• Custom marking: Permanent black inkjet printing. The customer's text may contain up to 45 characters and is preceded by the packaging dimensions.
